The Canon EOS 20D is a digital SLR camera. It was released in 2004.
It succeeded over the EOS 10D released a year earlier. To compare, it has an 8.2-megapixel sensor to the 10D's 6.3-megapixel. With a faster shutter of 1/8000 vs 1/400, along with 5fps vs 3fps of the predecessor.
It was succeeded by the EOS 30D in August of 2006.

Issues
- Firmware Update v2.0.0 This firmware update incorporates support for the wireless file transmitter WFT-E1.
- Firmware Update v1.1.0 This update adds three new languages to the camera menus: traditional Chinese, Korean and Russian. The new firmware also fixes the problem of horizontal line noise in images shot at high ISO settings while using the built-in flash.
- Firmware Update v1.0.5 This update fixes the lock-up problem that some users were experiencing. Note that this update also addresses the bug which caused Update v1.0.4 to kill some cameras.
