The Canon EOS 1Ds Mark III is a professional full-frame (24×36 mm) DSLR introduced by Canon in 2007. The Canon EOS 1Ds Mark III is successor to the 1Ds Mark II. It was available for for quite a long time, finally being discontinued in mid 2012 with the availability of the EOS-1D X.


The breakthrough feature of this model was a sensor of 21 megapixels, the highest resolution then available in this sensor format.

This camera features a 3" 230,000 pixel LCD screen, usable in live-view mode as an electronic viewfinder.
