The EOS 450D is also know as the Rebel XSi and the EOS Kiss Digital X2. This 2008 model from Canon aimed at the budget-conscious end of the DSLR market. It has a 12-megapixel CMOS sensor, but economized by using a pentamirror viewfinder and omitting a rear control wheel. Starting from this model the storage media for the entry level digital SLR's have switched to using SD cards. It is powered by a 1080mAh LP-E5 rechargeable battery.
