Jacknau GMBH is a maker of various specialist cameras in Berlin. Founded in 1965 as Alex Jacknau Präzisions-Mechanik, the company first made traffic monitoring and recording cameras used for penalty enforcement, at first for Siemens.

The firm has since made microfiche systems for libraries, and thermal-imaging cameras for medical use.

The company also makes technical springs of all shapes with precisely-known characteristics, a component originally needed for their cameras, and featured on their website as their main product.
