Rochester's camera maker Rochester Panoramic Camera Company was specialized on making panorama cameras and accessories like film backs for panorama photography. Its brand name was Cirkut. Its Cirkut panorama camera was patented in 1904 by its developers Johnston, Reavill, and Brehm, and production began in 1905. Soon it was taken over by Century, which became part of Kodak's Folmer & Schwing Division in 1907, where the making of the special camera types and accessories for panorama photography was continued and improved.
