Crown Optical Co. was a lens maker based in Rochester, N.Y., from 1906 to 1919. It made lenses and binoculars. It was commandeered during WWI to ensure binocular production for the Army. Probably some Crown lenses were used on cameras of Seneca in Rochester and McIntosh Stereopticon Co. in Chicago.
