Promaster is a brand name used by Photographic Research Organization, once styled P•R•O.[1] It is a American photographic accessory distributor known for lenses, filters, tripods, bags, memory cards, and lighting equipment.
P•R•O products were offered as far back as the 1960s as accessories sold through independent local stores, giving them access to the breadth of products and buying power to compete with large chains.
