G.A. Krauss was a company trading and manufacturing photographic goods. It was founded as Stuttgart's first photography retailer in 1895 by Gustav Adolf Krauss. From 1920 to 1934 the company produced own cameras.
The founder's brother Eugen Krauss was a camera maker from the same family, but based in Paris.
The shop in Stuttgart and its branches in the region were sold by the founder's grandson Rolf Krauss in 1991.
