The Altiflex is a German TLR made between 1937 and 1949 by Eho-Altissa in Dresden. The taking lens is a 75mm F/4.5 Trinar, made by Rodenstock. An odd series of apertures 3.5, 4.5, 5.3, 8, 12, 18 and 25 is marked on a scale under the taking lens. It has a Prontor II shutter with speeds from B, 1/300s. The Altiflex takes 6×6 pictures on 620 or 120 film. The film is transported with a knob on the right of the camera. Film advance is checked through a ruby window on the back. The camera body is covered in black leatherette.
Variations
Variations with 75mm/4.5 Ludwig Victar or 75mm/3.5 Rodenstock Trinar or 75mm/2.8 Laack Pololyt set in Compur or Prontor shutters are known.
