Zorki 5 2nd model, made in 1958. The Jupiter 8 (in the photo) is not the original lens. |
The Zorki 5 is a Russian 35mm rangefinder camera, made by KMZ between 1958 and 1959. It is a modified Zorki 2S: a longer rangefinder base, an advance lever instead of knob, a combined viewfinder and rangefinder window, and an adjustable diopter.
Version 1 has a square rangefinder window and the name is stamped in red in front. Version 2 has a round rangefinder window and the name is on a plate attached to the body.
The Zorki 5 is loaded by the bottom of the camera, and it's necessary to cut the film tongue to make it longer.
