Sunart was a camera maker based in Rochester. It operated from 1893 until its assets were bought by the new Seneca company in 1899. In 1898 it offered 28 different folding and magazine cameras in the price range from 5 $ to 100 $. The 5 $ camera Sunart Jr. of 1897 was a very small magazine camera for 12 3½×3½" glass plates. Sunart advertised its cameras as "So simple a child can operate it".
