The Start 35 was a Bakelite viewfinder camera for making 24×24mm exposures on 35mm Bolta film rolls. It was made since 1950 by the Japanese Ikko Sha Co. Ltd. . A new Start variant Start 35 K with hinged back door was introduced in 1952. A later variant, the Start 35 K II (c.1958) had flash sync and metal top-plate and lens surround caps.
