Zhongyi is the lens brand of an optical factory in Shenyang, China about 60 miles west of North Korea. The brand is sometimes mentioned as ZY Optics.
Its lens trade mark is Mitakon, comprising own MF-lens constructions for CSC cameras. It already was in the market in the heydays of manual-focusing 35mm film SLR system bodies, with appropriate lenses.

The wide angle converter speeds lens up, for example f1.4 to f1.2! Adapts optics for Pentax K, Leica R, M42, Minolta MD, Canon EF, Nikon Ai or Canon FD onto Sony NEX. Variants for Micro Four Thirds or Fuji CSCs may be available too, maybe not the full adaption palette.
