The Photosniper SLR-"guns" were made by KMZ. Maybe the conception behind these "shooters" was to give photographers who were gunmen a tool for shooting tele-exposures with a more quiet hand.

Photosniper FS-3
Produced 1965-69, supplied as complete kit housed in a steel container. Individual components were fastened to the container by screws and bolts Later versions the steel container was replaced by a canvas bag. Contents of the kit was :
- The camera body
- 58mm f2.0 Helios lens
- 300mm f4.5 Tair lens
- Two yellow filters 2x and 1.4x
- UV filter
- Orange filter
- Green filter
- Two cassette cases
- Two screwdrivers
- Lens Hood
- Trigger assembly and strap
- Shoulder Stock

The Photosniper FS-12 rifle trigger operated SLR was delivered in a tin suitcase as a set with 58mm Helios lens and 300mm Tair tele lens. It is a Zenit 12S SLR body with M42 screw mount with a rifle stock that serves as a combination of shoulder/hands "tripod", with a trigger shutter release. The camera can be focused by means of the metal wheel in the front of the gun stock.
