One model had a tubular optical finder, a Zeitax Anastigmat 7.5cm f:4.5 lens and a T, B, 5–200 shutter, sometimes marked ''CHIUKO'' (see [http://rd2h-ari.hp.infoseek.co.jp/JAS_ZEITAX_QQ_PIC.htm here]). It is the model that is pictured in McKeown.

The Zeitax was advertised in the 23 Sep 1942 issue of ''Asahi Graph'' (ad visible [http://syasinsyuu.cool.ne.jp/camera/syasinki.htm here]). Two models were offered, the '''Zeitax II''' with a f:4.5 lens for ¥132 and the '''Zeitax III''' with a f:3.5 lens for ¥150. There was a picture of the Zeitax III, and the body was completely different. It was now a copy of the [[Nettar]]. There was a small housing containing both a direct vision finder and a waist level [[brilliant finder]]. The name ''Zeitax'' was now embossed in lowercase letters. The lens was described as a リアックス (or リアッタス) Anastigmat and the shutter as a Convex Rapid (possible reading of コンベックス・ラピッド) with T, B, 1–300 speeds. The company name was 常盤光學工業有限會社.

The Zeitax (ザイタックス) was a 4.5×6 Japanese folder, made in the early 1940s. McKeown lists the Zeitax under the Motoshima entry. It was a copy of the Baldax, with a body release and one red window in the back, protected by a sliding cover. The name ZEITAX was embossed in the front leather.

One model had a tubular optical finder, a Zeitax Anastigmat 7.5cm f:4.5 lens and a T, B, 5–200 shutter, sometimes marked CHIUKO (see here). It is the model that is pictured in McKeown.

Another model has been observed with the same body, a folding optical finder, a Zeitax Anastigmat 7.5cm f:3.5 lens and a Koho 1–200, B, T shutter made by Takachiho (see here).

The Zeitax was advertised in the 23 Sep 1942 issue of Asahi Graph (ad visible here). Two models were offered, the Zeitax II with a f:4.5 lens for ¥132 and the Zeitax III with a f:3.5 lens for ¥150. There was a picture of the Zeitax III, and the body was completely different. It was now a copy of the Nettar. There was a small housing containing both a direct vision finder and a waist level brilliant finder. The name Zeitax was now embossed in lowercase letters. The lens was described as a リアックス (or リアッタス) Anastigmat and the shutter as a Convex Rapid (possible reading of コンベックス・ラピッド) with T, B, 1–300 speeds. The company name was 常盤光學工業有限會社.
