Warszawskie Zakłady Fotooptyczne (WZFO) was a maker of cameras and other photographic equipment in the Polish capital Warszawa. The company was founded by the state in 1951. In the mid-60s it was merged with the older photo-optical company PZO.
Some of its products were exported abroad (at least in France[1] and UK[2]) by a company called PTHZ Varimex. Among the products exported were: Ami[3], Start B, Fenix Ib, Fenix IIb, Alfa 2, Krokus and Janpol Color.
