The MVC-FD81 is a 1998 introduction in the Mavica series of digital cameras from Sony, using standard 3.5" computer floppy disks for image storage. At the maximum image resolution of 1024×768 pixels, and using "Fine" JPEG compression, a maximum of 8 images can be stored on a 1.4 MB floppy disk.
