The Sony DSC-N1 CyberShot is a compact digital camera released by Sony in 2005.
It features a 8.1 megapixel 1/1.8" CCD sensor and a Carl Zeiss-branded Vario-Tessar 3x optical zoom lens. Images are captured with a maximum resolution of 3264 x 2448. Viewing is exclusively through the 230,400 pixel 3-inch LCD touch screen. The ISO range is from 64 to 800. This camera also has basic video capability, recording in MPEGVX, and able to capture 640 x 480 images at 8, 16, 30 fps. It uses Memory Stick / Memory Stick Pro as the storage media. There is also 26MB built-in.
In following year the Cyber-shot DSC-N2 was available in 2006. It is mostly the same but features a 10 megapixel 1/1.7" CCD sensor. Images are captured at 3648 x 2736 resolution. The ISO range is now from 100-1600.
