In the age of iphoneography many digicams and even many digital system cameras got a touch screen. That means that their rear LCD or OLED screen has a fully transparent touch-sensitive surface, comparable to the touch-pad on a notebook computer which replaces the mouse. One main application of many cameras with touch screen is the autofocus area selection to determine the area of sharpness of the composed image. Of course any menus of the cameras can be controlled by touch screen.
