As was the case with the Samsung GX-10 (which was a near-twin of the Pentax K10D), the GX-20 from Samsung is based on the K20D from Pentax. Both models use a sensor manufactured by Samsung and accept K-mount lenses.
The GX-20 was the final K-mount DSLR offered by Samsung, before introducing the mirrorless "NX system" with the 2010 launch of the Samsung NX10. (The K-x and K-5 continued Pentax's K-mount DSLR line using sensors from Sony.)
