The Olympus OM-D E-M5 of the year 2012 was the first Japanese mirrorless digital system camera with a body design that resembles of a legendary 35mm camera system, the Olympus OM SLR series. The new camera itself started the new Olympus OM-D camera series for the Micro Four-Thirds system.
