The Minolta-16 EE from 1962 was Minolta's first 16mm subminiature camera with built-in light-meter. The meter automatically controls the aperture from f2.8 to f11.

The Minolta-16 EE II followed in 1963 and replaced the selenium meter with a CdS cell.
