Leica Ic
The Leica Ic is a version of the Leica IIIc, stripped of the viewfinder, rangefinder and slow speeds, made by Leitz for special needs, such as scientific photography, wide-angle photography or tele photography with a reflex housing. It has two accessory shoes, allowing to mount a viewfinder and an auxiliary rangefinder (in vertical position) at the same time. It was made from 1949 to 1952. Serial number range 455,001 to 563,100.
The Leica Ic is not to be confused with the Leica C or Leica I, often called "Leica I (C)" or even "Leica IC" today, introduced by Leitz after the Leica A.
