The Cosina CT-1 is a manual focus 35mm SLR from Cosina. It accepts K mount bayonet lenses.

It has a vertically-traveling metal focal-plane shutter with speeds from 1s to 1/1000 and B. Flash sync is at 1/125 sec. The self-timer is mechanical, with a delay of approx 10 sec. It features an open-aperture TTL match-needle center weighted metering system using a CdS cell. The meter has a range of 3 to 18 EV at (ASA 100), and can be set to film speeds of 25 to 1600 ASA.

Cosina has a long history of manufacturing cameras under contract to be sold under the branding of different companies. Many sources on the web[1] state that this model was the basis for cameras such as the Nikon FM10 and the Olympus OM2000. It may be more accurate to say that that this model's successor the CT1 Super was the basis for many other cameras; the "Super" was a model which includes the 1/2000 sec top shutter speed and the match-LED metering display which became standard in most later Cosina-built SLRs.
