The Canon Snappy EZ (Prima Junior in Europe, CB 35 in Japan) of April 1988 is a compact camera for budget-conscious photographers, and was the fifth member of the Canon Snappy series. It was only available in black.

- Lens: 35mm, f/3.8 (3 elements in 3 groups).
- Fixed focus.
- Fixed shutter speed of 1/125s.
- Integrated auto-flash. (GN: 10m at ISO 100).
- Manual setting of ISO from 100/200-1000/1600.
- Motor drive.
- Power: Two 1.5V AA alkaline batteries.
