Busch Optical Mfg. Co. in Chicago, Illinois (USA) was a camera maker, formerly named Busch Precision Camera Corporation, and known for nicely-made press cameras. As is typical with press cameras, a photographer using a Busch Pressman may frame rapidly using an oversized sports finder; focus very precisely on a ground glass; or focus with a coupled rangefinder. Busch also offered its own top-mounted "Busch Vue-Focus," which combined focusing and parallax-compensated viewing in a single unit. This accessory could also also project a light beam, to illuminate the area of the scene where the rangefinder spot was aimed.
