Henry Gambino indicates that around 1962, Argus offered a slightly-restyled version of the Mamiya Automatic 35 EEF[1] which was badged Argus Auto 35mm.
This is a very chunky model with an extremely distinctive appearance due to its front flash reflector (for AG-1 flashbulbs) built into the body alongside the lens. If this model did indeed make it to market it cannot have sold in any significant numbers (there is no entry for it in McKeown[2]).
