Zenit 312M

The Russian Zenit 312M 35mm SLR from KMZ takes M42 screw mount lenses and is generally fitted with a modern version of the famous Helios, this time in a 50mm f/2 configuration. Introduced in 1998, this is one of a long series of Zenit SLRs, but it has a moulded plastic, as opposed to metal, body. The 312m has TTL exposure metering. The focal plane shutter runs from 1/30 to 1/500 sec. + B. The focusing screen has both a split-image device and a microprism ring.

Power comes from three batteries, two Mallory D 386 one BLIK-1. Weight: 820g.
