The XV-5 is an SLR marketed by Vivitar accepting K mount lenses. This model's self-timer lever and characteristic 3 metering LEDs outside the viewfinder eyepiece suggest it was made by Chinon, in contrast to most of Vivitar's SLRs which were products of Cosina. Additionally the flash sync speed is 1/60th second, rather than 1/125. Two common LR44 or SR44 batteries power the over/correct/under exposure display. The supplied 50mm f/1.9 lens also has markings characteristic of Chinon's f/1.9 K-mount normal lens.
The Vivitar XV-11 seems almost identical, save for the shape of the self-timer lever.
