The XV-11 is a 35mm SLR accepting K mount lenses marketed by Vivitar. The shape and location of the self-timer lever, along with the characteristic three exposure LEDs outside the viewfinder eyepiece, strongly suggest this is a reworked Chinon CM-4s with some small styling changes. (This is a departure from Vivitar's common reliance on Cosina SLR models.) This "back to basics" camera offers shutter speeds from 1/1000 to 1 second plus B, and a half-press on the shutter release will light up the over/correct/under metering display to the left of the eyepiece. This requires power from two common LR44 or SR44 type batteries, but the shutter itself is mechanical.

The Vivitar XV-5 seems almost identical, save for the shape of the self-timer lever.
