I doubt that the "typical Thornton-Pickard plate camera" is really a Thornton-Pickard. Certainly it is the right style, but not typical are the brass corner pieces on the back corners. Neither is the large brass side plate, the struts are not typical and the locking screws are round instead of oblong. Many otherwise un-named cameras have been mis-identified as "Thornton-Pickard" solely because one of their shutters was fitted. Geoff 28 January 2013 After discussions with the owner of a well-known wooden camera site I can confidently say these photos are not of a Thornton-Pickard so I will comment them out.
