Hi Dustin, a similar page Clones, Rebadges and Rebrands exists, albeit only linked to by 11 other pages. It's probably desirable to meld the texts of both articles, and try to corral the incoming links to a single page (redirects as needed). A link to this might belong in many other articles, too.
I suspect "rebranding" is the term most often used in wiki pages at the moment, but that's merely my hunch.--Vox 06:35, 28 March 2011 (PDT)
I agree. 'Name variant is one I have come across in a few articles here, and one I use myself. I suspect that I and others learnt it from McKeown. I've added a couple of sentences to the Clones etc article, and I'll change Name Variant to a redirect to that. Cheers!--Dustin McAmera 06:54, 28 March 2011 (PDT)
