The Samsung NX mini is the only camera body featuring Samsung's small bayonet NX-M, a miniaturized version of the NX cameras' lens mount. Of course an adapter was available from Samsung, for NX mount lenses on NX-M mount. Only three NX-M lenses where available for the camera, 9mm, 9-27mm and 17mm. The 9mm was so weak, that adaptions of lenses became necessary for those who liked to use the NX mini as more versatile system camera. MF lens adapters were made in some little workshops, especially for lenses of camera systems with quite small lenses. Thus nowadays the camera is a specialist for very special lens choices :-) . The camera was made in China.
When used with original NX-M system lenses the camera can easily be used to shoot selfies (self-portraits from arm length distance) since its 3,0" TFT monitor (460.800 pixels) can be tilted up 180°. The camera has a backside-illuminated 20 megapixel Sony imaging sensor. It switches automatically from electro-mechanical to electronic shutter for speeds >1/200 up to amazing 1/16000 sec.
