The Nikonos V is an underwater 35mm viewfinder camera made by Nikon in Japan, introduced in June 1984. It can be used at depths down to 165 feet (50 meters).

Like the earlier IV-A, the Nikonos V provides aperture-priority autoexposure via an electronically-timed shutter; but it improves on that model by offering a full range of manually-selectable shutter speeds. When using Nikon's SB-102 and SB-103 flash units, the Nikonos V provides through-the-lens automatic flash exposure control.

The Nikonos V remained in production until 2001, overlapping with Nikon's underwater SLR model the Nikonos RS.
