DS-515 image by maoby (Image rights) |
The Nikon E2 and E3 series are early digital SLR cameras developed by Nikon together with Fuji. The E2/E2s model was also available as Fujix DS-505 and DS-515. The E2 was based on the Nikon F4. It has a 1.3-Megapixel, 2/3-inch CCD sensor, but the entire 35mm image is condensed optically onto this less-than-full-frame sensor. The camera uses PCMCIA memory cards for storage.[1]
Notes
- ↑ Nikon/Fuji E2 offered at the 41st Leitz Photographica Auction, in November 2022. Several good detail photographs of the camera.
