Kawakami Seimitsu Kikai Seisakusho (川上精密機械製作所) was a Japanese company based in Tokyo, Itabashi in 1943.[1] It is listed in the "Kokusan shashinki no genjōchōsa" ("Inquiry into Japanese cameras"), but not the exact nature of its activity. Making of lenses seems to have been a main activity. It seems that sooner or later the company was renamed to RolMax Ind. Co. Ltd. since its lens brand was known as RolMax. The company may also have produced OEM lenses.
