My name is David Haardt and I'm originally from Austria but currently completing my PhD in Economics at the Institute for Social and Economic Research, University of Essex, England.

I started photography with a LOMO LC-A. At the moment, I own the following cameras:

I also own a Quartz 2x8S-3 cine camera and have some experience with 4x5" (Graflex 45 Super Speed Graphic). I also used to have substantial Canon EOS and Kiev-88CM systems.

At the moment I'm spending far too little time with photography, and I hardly ever use anything else than the Canon PowerShot A70 (which is a great camera, but still).

I'd like to help build those parts of Camerapedia which are concerned with cameras and lenses from Eastern Europe.
