TSVVS stands for Topographicheskaya Sluzhba Voyenno-Vozdushnih Sil (Topographic Service of the Air Force)[1]. A Soviet camera exists where the Cyrillic form of these initials, TCBBC (around a star emblem) is the only identifying marking. This is a Leica-styled rangefinder camera, but utilizing the lens mount of the Contax (or Kiev).
Notes
- ↑ Alexander Bronstein's website, www.leica.boom.ru (link inactive), stated the more correct form of the name is VTS-VS.
