In march 1999 the famous Sony Mavica FD71 was followed by the Sony Mavica FD73. With 0.35 megapixels it was far from today's standards, but as its predecessor it used 1.44 MB diskettes as storage device and offered an astounding optical versatility with its 10x-zoom lens with minimal macro distance 1cm. Many Mavicas still work fine today.
