The Cybershot DSC-W1 is a digital camera announced in 2004 by Sony.
It features a 5.1 megapixel CCD sensor, producing a maximum image resolution of 2592 x 1944 pixels. It has a Carl Zeiss zoom lens at an 35mm equivalent of 38 – 114 mm. An optical viewfinder can be used as well as a 123,000 pixel 2.5" LCD screen. This camera also has a basic video capability in MPEGVX, capable of capturing 640 x 480 at 16 fps. It uses Memory Stick / Memory Stick Pro as the storage media, with Sony usually includes a 32MB card. It uses Hi-Speed USB2 for connectivity. It is powered by 2x AA batteries. AA NiMh rechargeable batteries and charger are included in most markets.
