The Sony DSC-P30 is a 1.3 megapixel point-and-shoot digital camera. It has a maximum resolution of 1280 x 960. Images are stored on a Sony-proprietary Memory Stick. A 4mb Memory Stick is included with the camera.

The P30 offers 3.0x optical zoom, and 2.0x digital zoom. Photos can be composed through the optical viewfinder, or on the bright 1.5-inch color LCD screen.

Better than most point-and-shoot digicams, the DSC-P30 has 37mm filter threads on the lens, which means no adapters are necessary to use filters on this camera.
