Sintax
The Sintax (シンタックスカメラ) was a 6×4.5 folder sold by Tōkyō Shashin Shōkai (東京写真商会, i.e. "Tokyo photography trading") in 1942–3. It had a folding finder. Some examples had a f/3.5 75mm コリー lens and a Takachiho-made Kōhō shutter with speeds of B, T, 1–200; other examples had a different lens and shutter.
The Sintax was advertised in the March 1942 issue of Hōdō Shashin (報道写真) for ¥140, together with the Ami as a less expensive alternative.
The Sintax is listed by McKeown under the "Kotani Trading" entry.
