The Sintax (シンタックスカメラ) was a 6×4.5 folder sold by Tōkyō Shashin Shōkai (東京写真商会, i.e. "Tokyo photography trading") in 1942–3 (for ¥140). It had a folding finder. Some examples had a f/3.5 75mm コリー lens and a Takachiho-made Kōhō shutter with speeds of B, T, 1–200; other examples had different lens and shutter.
The Ami was sold as a less expensive alternative.
