As was the case with the Samsung GX-10 (which was a near-twin of the Pentax K10D), the GX-20 from Samsung is based on the K20D from Pentax. Both models used a sensor manufactured by Samsung.
The GX-20 was the final K-mount DSLR offered by Samsung, before introducing a mirrorless mirrorless "NX system" with the 2010 launch of the Samsung NX10.
