Peco Supra
The Peco Supra is a monorail camera made by Plaubel between 1954 and 1960.[1] As usual for Plaubel, it is an all-metal camera, with leather bellows. It is probably most used as a 9x12cm or 4x5-inch camera; plate or film backs can be attached for 6.5x9cm, 9x12cm, 4x5-inch and 10x15cm plates or film, and 4.5x6cm, 6x6cm and 6x9cm roll-film backs can be used. The maximum bellows draw is 500mm. The front and rear standards are held in yokes, each giving 25° of tilt, 35° of swing, and 50mm of rise and of fall. Sideways shift is achieved by using swing. There are scales for most of the movements, including scales on the rail which travel with each standard to show racking adjustments. Examples of the camera have been seen with black or red bellows.
Historic Camera shows a Supra II (not mentioned in the brochure cited), and dates it to about 1960.[2]
