The Peco Junior is a monorail camera made by Plaubel from around 1958. It is largely made from machined aluminium. The camera has a simplified set of camera movements, with only linear movements (rise/fall and shift) on the front standard, and only tilt and swing on the rear. It has a reversing back (that is, the rear plate, to which the film or plate holder attaches, can be oriented for horizontal or vertical pictures by detaching it).

The camera was made in two sizes:

  • for 6.5x9cm plates, 6x9cm (2¼x3¼-in) roll film, or even 35mm roll-film back
  • for 9x12 or 4x5-in plates (or reducing back for smaller sizes)
