The Panasonic Lumix DMC-GH3 was launched in 2012 and is a quite heavy compact digital system camera body for the Micro Four Thirds system, heavier than the classic Lumix G1 of 2008, the first µ4/3 camera, and its sister for video-freaks, the Lumix GH1. As part of the Lumix GH series it has strong video capabilities with upto 50 frames/second in 1980×1080 pixel resolution. The camera is weather-sealed. Its flexibly turnable monitor is a touch-screen, nice for focus area choice. And it offers a WiFi wireless connection to exchange images with other devices or for remote-control via smartphone or pad with the same app that's used for contemporary compact Lumix cameras.
