The Olympus PEN mini E-PM1 is a very compact digital system camera for the Micro Four Thirds system, significantly smaller than the PEN E-P3, both launched in 2011 and with HD video capability. It had been delivered with a miniature flash for the universal accessory shoe. Its ergonomy suffers a little from its slim compact design. It still had a 12 megapixel imaging sensor of the system's first sensor generation which was used in the micro Four Thirds system cameras since 2008.
