The Makinette 16 is a subminiature project by Plaubel, dated 1958. It would have used unperforated 16mm film, but remained at prototype level.

The Makinette name was also used by Plaubel for:

  • a 3x4 strut folding camera in the 1930s: see Makinette
  • a 6x7 strut folding camera, prototype of the Makina 67: see Makinette 67
  • maybe a 35mm camera Makinette 35P, reported here.
