The Genba Kantoku 28 (現場監督) (translated as Site supervisor) or referred to as Foreman or Work camera is a rugged 35mm film camera released in Japan by Konica in 1990. It was also available as the Konica Off-road Wide 28. It was replaced in 1992 with the "New 現場監督 28".
It was primary designed for building construction workers. It uses a auto focusing fixed 28mm f/3.5 with a 8/9 lens design. It has a minimum focusing distance of 0.75m. The shutter has speeds of 1/4 to 1/280 sec. There is a LCD panel which displays, exposure counter, battery level, flash (auto, on, off), self-timer, macro and infinity. The film loading and advance is automatic with a motor drive. A window is on the film back as a reminder of emulsion type. Power is from 2CR5 battery. Date versions can record the year up to 2019 and powered by a CR2025 battery
